HALIFAX - Fuel prices in Nova Scotia have been reduced.

The province's Utility and Review Board has lowered the price of regular, self-serve gasoline to $1.29 in the Halifax area.

That's a drop of 1.2 cents per litre.

The price is slightly higher outside the city.

Diesel prices have also dropped, but by a smaller amount.

The price is down by eight-tenths of a cent to $1.06 per litre.
