An 18-year-old Stoney Creek man had his car towed and his licence suspended on First Road East at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Hamilton Police say.

Officers clocked him going 136 km/h in a 50 km/h zone and charged him with speeding and stunt driving.

Just after midnight Friday, police noticed two cars speeding on Barton Street East near Kenilworth Avenue.

One car didn't stop. The other was driven by an 18-year-old Hamilton man, whose car was towed and his licence suspended. He was charged with racing a motor vehicle.

On Wednesday, a 23-year-old Smithville woman was also charged with stunt driving on First Road.
