Taxi driver accused in longboarder's death gets bail

A taxi driver has been granted bail in a Toronto court, less than two weeks after being charged with second-degree murder in the death of a longboarder.

Adib Ibrahim was released on $200,000 bail on Thursday.

He is prohibited from driving while on bail.

Ibrahim was charged after his taxi was involved in a deadly collision with a man on a longboard on May 14.

Ralph Bissonnette, 28, was rushed to hospital after the collision, but was pronounced dead on arrival.
