Banana Republic Fall 2012 Lookbook: Sneak Peek

You Guys, Our Necks Will Be Super-Warm This Fall
Banana Republic

Who doesn't love a good sneak peek, especially when it comes to home decor, fashion or beauty products? In this regular feature, we'll take you behind the scenes of some of style's biggest and most popular brands, and will show what products they're about to ship to stores.

Banana Republic already has fall on the brain, and its new collection is ready to take its wearers from the hustle and bustle of their day jobs right into the night. Judging by the tailoring, it appears as though we may not be over the Mad Men way of life just yet -- but this season's class is more Mad Men With An Edge.

The monochromatic colour scheme is dominated with neutral greys and black, but has bright pops of yellow and bits of leather in the mix. Form-fitting pencil skirts and skinny-legged pants are accented with pops of crimson red accessories and tan clutches. Hemlines have dropped below the knee for women and suits are smartly tailored for the boys. This collection is not only ready to go from day to night but will also transition well from end of summer to early winter.

What we appreciate the most is that our necks are going to be seriously warm this fall/winter with Banana Republic's new take on the infinity scarf. It's furry and hugs so close to the neck. We're not complaining over here. Rather we'll be running out the door to stock up.

Have a look at the collection and let us know what you think about it on Twitter or in the comments below:
