Ottawa and parts of eastern Ontario remain under a severe thunderstorm warning as the second major storm in five days rolled across the region.
The city and region have already seen heavy rain and there have been reports of hail and high winds and hydro outages.
Severe thunderstorm warnings remain in effect for Ottawa, Brockville-Leeds-Grenville, Prescott-Russell and in Cornwall-Morrisburg, according to Environment Canada.
Ottawa Fire reports heavy wind damage south of Ottawa in the Merickville-Spencerville area.
Tornado warnings were also issued for the west Quebec areas of Huntington, Lacolle and Saint-Jean-Marieville, but ended just after 5 p.m. ET.
