The eastbound lanes of Lake Shore Boulevard and the Gardiner Expressway have reopened after a police investigation into a hit-and-run.

At about 10 a.m. a Honda Civic struck a truck and a minivan on the Gardiner Expressway and then fled the scene.

Police found the car near Lake Shore and Leslie Street.

A search of the area under the expressway where the accident happened turned up a handgun.

The Lake Shore was closed down for about two hours during the search.

Police have arrested one male and say they are looking for two others.
