The B.C. Coroners Service has released the names of all three men killed in a helicopter crash near Terrace, B.C., on Friday.
Peter Bryant, 44, Blake Erikson, 48, and Arnaud Jolibois, 44, were on a training mission when their A-star 350 helicopter went down above the treeline of Sleeping Beauty Mountain, 14 kilometres from Terrace.
Bryant was from Terrace, Erickson from Sicamous and Jolibois from Banff, Alta. All three were pilots with Bailey Helicopters Ltd., based out of Fort St. John, B.C.
The men's bodies were recovered from the crash site on Saturday and taken to Mills Memorial Hospital in Terrace, where autopsies will be performed.
"The Transportation Safety Board is going in," said coroner Barb McClintock.
"We'll work closely with them, but we'll expect hopefully they'll produce for us a very good report which will show what actually caused the unfortunate crash, because they're the people who have all the technical expertise to do that part of the investigation."
Terrace RCMP say there were no suspicious circumstances around the crash, but weather conditions at the time were very poor.
