Water balloon toss sends motorist to hospital

A woman was taken to hospital in Prince Albert, Sask., after the car she was driving was hit by a water-filled balloon, smashing the windshield.

Police say the woman was driving into Prince Albert on Highway 55 when at around 10:45 p.m. CST, a water balloon was launched from a vehicle leaving the city.

The balloon struck and shattered her front windshield.
