Twitter Reacts To Bob Rae's Big Decision

Twitter is reacting with surprise to the news that Bob Rae will not be running for the permanent leadership of the Liberal party.

Rae told the Liberal caucus Wednesday that he will not be seeking the top job. The former NDP premier of Ontario had widely been expected to announce his bid following a likely announcement from the party executive allowing him to run. The party's national board of directors is holding a conference call Wednesday night to vote on timelines and rules for the coming leadership race.

Many on Twitter are already speculating that with Rae out of the race Justin Trudeau will be more likely to run. Read the reactions in the slideshow below.
