Police and firefighters are at Amir Khadir's house after a suspicious package was reportedly delivered to the residence on Montreal's Plateau Mont Royal.

Police say there appears to be some sort of powder in the package sent to the member of the national assembly.

The fire department's hazardous materials team is investigating.
