2 Toronto police officers hurt during trespass call

Two Toronto police officers were treated in hospital on Sunday morning after they were injured while attending a trespass call.

The officers were responding to a call from an apartment building on Lake Shore Boulevard, near Brown's Line, just before 9 a.m.

An altercation started in the building. A man ran from police and they arrested him across the street taking him down on the sidewalk. Const. Wendy Drummond confirmed to CBC News that two officers received non-life threatening injuries.
