Langley shooting victims named

Police have identified two men who were killed in Langley, B.C., early Saturday morning as 27-year-old Gordon Spencer and 25-year-old Bruce Mayo.

Langley RCMP were called to a home in the 6400 block of Glover Road just after 2:30 a.m. PT on Saturday to what was described as a domestic dispute.

A search of the home revealed Spencer and Mayo, who appeared to have been shot. The inside of the home was thickly doused in bear spray.

Spencer was declared dead at the scene, while Mayo succumbed to his injuries after being transported to hospital in critical condition.

Four men and one woman, ranging in ages from 17 to 22, were arrested at the scene. They have all since been interviewed and released without charges.

It is not believed the two men were residents of the house and IHIT investigators have yet to confirm a motive for the double homicide.
