OPP in Elliot Lake say a thoroughfare in the community will be closed for eight hours Tuesday to observe and accommodate the funeral home visitation times for one victim of last week's mall disaster.

Doloris Perrizolo, 74, died at the Algo Center Mall after a portion of the roof caved in on June 23.

Ontario Avenue is to be closed off north of Brunswick Walk to Veterans Way in Elliot Lake between 1 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Perrizolo's funeral will be held Wednesday.

According to an obituary published on the Elliot Lake Funeral Chapel and Cremation Centre’s web site, Perizzolo was pre-deceased by her husband Giuseppe Perizzolo.

She is survived by daughters Teresa Perizzolo (husband Darrin Latulippe) of Elliot Lake, Cindy Lee Allan (George McConaghy) of Guelph, Roberta Rayburn of Hamilton and grandsons, Jesse and Ian. She had a dog named Maggie.

A mass will be held on July 4 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Parish. Her interment will follow at Elliot Lake’s Woodlands Cemetery.

Her family indicated that memorial contributions to any charity would be appreciated.
