N.B. tire recycling company gets government help to improve productivity

MINTO, N.B. - The New Brunswick and federal governments are spending $281,000 to help a tire recycling company improve productivity.

Tire Recycling Atlantic Canada Corp. of Minto produces a variety of products including rubber mats and imitation patio blocks.

The company is getting a $221,000 loan from the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, and $60,000 from the province.

The company will buy equipment to improve efficiencies and productivity.
