Drivers in Toronto are facing more road closures this weekend.

Along with planned closures caused by festivals and the Honda Indy, there was also an unexpected problem when a water main broke in Missisauga, forcing all westbound traffic on the QEW to stop between Hurontario Street and Cawthra Road for several hours.

Other closures include:

- The Honda Indy will close Strachan Avenue from Lake Shore Boulevard to Fleet Street, and Lake Shore Boulevard from Strachan Avenue to British Columbia Drive, until Sunday night.

There is no eastbound or westbound traffic during these closures. The only available access to Ontario Place during this period is from Lake Shore Boulevard at the foot of Strachan Avenue.

Two alternative east and westbound routes are the Gardiner Expressway and King Street.

- Salsa on St. Clair is causing Saturday and Sunday closures.

St. Clair Avenue West is closed from Winona Drive to Christie Street in both directions from July 7 at 8 a.m. to July 8 at 11 p.m.

- There is also the Taste of Lawrence, closing Lawrence Avenue East from Warden Avenue to Birchmount Road until July 8 at 11:59 p.m.

- Also, the Festival of South Asia will close Gerrard Street East from Coxwell Avenue to Glenside Avenue in both directions from July 7 at 10 a.m. to July 9 at 1 a.m.
