Three people were found dead in the garage of a home in Warwick, Que., early this morning by firefighters responding to a call.
The fire department responded to the home on Richardson Street at around 3 a.m. ET after receiving reports of a fire.
They found the bodies in the detached garage of the home in the community about two hours northeast of Montreal.
The identities of the three people and the circumstances surrounding their deaths are not yet known.
Mathieu Grenier, operations chief with the Warwick Fire Department, told Radio-Canada the bodies have not yet been removed from the scene.
"The perimeter isn't moving, so no one has access right now to the garage," he said. "No identifications have been made."
The Quebec provincial police major crimes unit is on scene.
Joel Croteau drove to the home on his way to work after hearing reports of the fire. He told CBC News he worked with the man who lives at the home and described the discovery as "incomprehensible."
He said the man has two children who have been living with him for about a year.
