We've never referred to a weddings as epic before, but no other word does justice to these spectacular nuptials that begin at a chapel in Lake Tekapo, New Zealand and end on top of a glacier. Seriously!
Following their ceremony (oh, and a carriage ride through the unbelievable New Zealand countryside), this adventure-loving couple took a helicopter to Tasman Glacier, near Mount Cook National Park. They love to hike and had visited the park together a few years earlier; as the bride explains, the chopper ride seemed like "a fun thing to do!"
While we often focus on the details of a wedding, it's the big stuff that makes us swoon here: the snow-capped mountains, scenic vistas and sparkling, crystal clear lake, all beautifully captured by Applehead Studio Photography.
