Our smog comes from the USA.. the southerly winds come from south.. i.e. the USA and right passed all of the many many coal fired power plants that the USA luves.. they get half of their electrical energy from coal... so when the winds come up through Ohio.. they pick up the smog from the coal fired power plants. end of story

The last few days when I have gone outside, it has felt like the air was being sucked right out of me. So, back inside to use my asthma huffer. I don't envy anyone who has really bad asthma these days.

Canadians experience smog, Canadians experience warm weather ?
Seems like Canadians are unaccustomed to what most of the world considers normal..

I remember I used to go for a jog in the wee hours of the early morning back in the early 90s when I lived in Cabbage Town. Even at that time, there was this low hanging smog that made it hard to breath, let alone jog. Have been out of To. now for a few years, how much worse has it got in the summertime?

Does anyone know where the smog comes from? I noticed the "southerly winds" comment.
