There's more?!

American retailers can't get enough of us Canadians. Last week, rumours swirled about the arrival of Nordstrom north of the 49th; this week we bring you news that Free People is set to open their doors in Toronto and Calgary in August.

The launches kick off in Yorkville, Toronto, on August 2 with a big ole party and a whole lot of prizes. The Calgary's store's doors will open on August 31.

Beth Wehagen, Free People’s Director of Stores says, “We are thrilled to open our first two Canadian Free People stores in the Toronto and Calgary markets this summer. We are excited to offer this extension of the Free People brand in order to better serve our customers in the country and look forward to adding additional Canadian stores in the upcoming years.”

Free People is an urban bohemian brand with a vintage-y vibe. The pieces are perfect for layering, effortlessly easy and the intimates are seriously sexy. It's the clothing you'd see that trendy girl at Coachella wearing; their collections have a firm hold on dressing with femininity while also using basics to make outfits accessible and timeless.

It's safe to say we're thrilled about this store's soon-to-be Canadian arrival.
