What are you doing September 6?

No plans? Well, if you live in Toronto, prepare thy wallet -- Fashion's Night Out (FNO) is coming to town. The over-the-top shopping event has been running for four years in the states, and has finally set its compass due North -- this according to Bernadette Mora, Fashion Magazine's editor-in-chief, and Orietta Minate, Glow's publisher.

The event will see bloggers, designers, editors and industry insiders fête the fashion industry with parties and some late-night shopping. Started in 2009, FNO was created by the American Vogue and the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) as a way to boost a struggling economy.

Although times are not as tough, FNO has become one of the most glamorous one-night-only fashion events. Lucky for us Torontonians, we finally get to take part in some of the sartorial drink sipping and credit card swiping.
