LONDON - A look at Canada's top medal hopefuls during the first seven days of official comptition at the 2012 Summer Games in London:

SATURDAY: Swimmer Ryan Cochrane in the 400 freestyle.

SUNDAY: Divers Jennifer Abels and Emilie Heymans in synchronized springboard.

MONDAY: Swimmer Julia Wilkinson in the 100 backstroke.

TUESDAY: Divers Roseline Filion and Meaghan Benfeito in synchronized tower.

WEDNESDAY: Men's rowing eight, swimmer Brent Hayden in 100 freestyle.

THURSDAY: Women's rowing eight, swimmer Martha McCabe in 200 breaststroke.

FRIDAY: Dylan Armstrong in shot put, men's rowing pair, Jason Burnett in men's trampoline.
