UPDATE: Toronto Mayor Rob Ford presented comedians Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis with mini-Stanley Cups and leftover campaign stickers on Monday at the Hockey Hall of Fame.
The two actors arrived in a zamboni to promote their new film "The Campaign."
Inside the museum, Ferrell, who was clad in an LA Kings jersey, thanked Ford and made some digs at the Maple Leafs. "(It was a) hard-fought battle. Los Angeles is the best team in the NHL. But you know what? Toronto's a great city too and one day you will hoist that magnificent cup above your head. And let's have a quick shout-out for Yellowknife, OK?'' Ferrell joked, according to The Canadian Press.
Galifianakis also got in on the action, pretending to read a poem titled "Kamloops" and discussing his excitement over the "stromboli" ride.
No word yet on whether the two men had time to shoot a sketch with the mayor. Earlier on Monday, a report in the Toronto Sun suggested Ford would be up for anything.

Just when you thought nothing could top last week's Rob Ford news, we learn Toronto's mayor may be shooting a sketch with comedians Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis.
The two funnymen are in Toronto to promote their new film The Campaign and will be meeting with Ford. And the mayor is open to the possibility of making comedic magic, according to the Toronto Sun.
Ferrell and Galifianakis are on a 11-city "Whistle-Stop Tour," and will receive a "special gift" from Ford, according to the National Post. The Comedians will be at the Hockey Hall of Fame at 4 p.m. Monday and the first 100 fans to arrive with a printed flyer will get free admission.
Those lucky enough to get in may also win a ticket to a special advance screening of The Campaign Monday night at Toronto's Scotiabank Theatre, according to the The Toronto Star. Ferrell and Galifianakis will be heading to MuchMusic before hitting the red carpet.
Toronto's mayor has some acting experience. He appeared as a cannon doll in the National Ballet's opening of The Nutcracker in December of last year.
Ford is in need of some positive headlines after making news last week over posing for a photo with a neo-Nazi.
But we're wondering if a sketch with Ferrell and Galifanakis will see the two comedians laughing with or at the mayor. Either way, fingers crossed this happens.
