First it was Adele. Now it's Pippa Middleton.
A few months after Karl Lagerfeld, the headmaster of Chanel, dissed Adele -- saying she was a "little too fat, but she has a beautiful face and a divine voice" -- it appears he's got a new target of his, ummmm, affection: Pippa Middleton.
According to The Sun, the designer -- when asked about the Middleton sisters' style -- said about Pippa, "I don't like the sister's face. She should only show her back." He went on to say, "Kate Middleton has a nice silhouette and she is the right girl for that boy." (We presume he's talking about Prince William.)
The comments were reportedly, according to the U.K. Mirror, made by Lagerfeld while he was unveiling his new Olympic-themed collection at Selfridges in London.
Reaction to the comment has been swift, with many sites, like The Fashion Spot, declaring it "dehumanizing."
Now, we're not saying the quote is appropriate, but it was made by a man who has maids for his cat. And, in the end, he did apologize to Adele.
What say you: is the quote ridiculously inappropriate or is it okay given the source? Let us know on Twitter.
