Dr. Oz's 5 Must-Have Beauty Products

This week, the Dr. Oz Show featured five must-have beauty products. Famous for informing the public on the healthiest trends, Dr. Mehmet Oz introduced celebrity makeup artist Cynde Watson and her choices for the five best beauty products to reduce clutter and save money.

Cynde Watson has also owned her own makeup line for 15 years. According to Dr. Oz, Watson "looks spectacular at 45." Check the show's website for air times in your locale.

The first recommended must-have beauty product is an SPF tinted moisturizer that not only protects from UVA and UVB rays, but also hydrates and provides full coverage, such as Josie Maran SPF 30 Tinted Moisturizer.

As women age, adding a bit of color to the lashes makes the eyes pop and creates a more youthful appearance. Lights, Camera, Lashes! Mascara from Tarte also conditions the eyelashes—which is why this product made the list of the top five must-have beauty products. Lashes tend to become brittle with age and need added moisture.

For the cheeks and lips, Dr. Oz and Watson suggest a two-in-one beauty product, Makeup Forever Aqua Cream. This cream makeup serves dual functions as a lip shine and blush. Watson recommends utilizing natural skin colors for optimal results. To find your best shade, try to match the rouge and lip color with the inside of the cheek.

Hands are generally the first parts of the body to show signs of aging. Even if nothing else can be done to prevent your hands from betraying your age, Watson suggests that it is still possible to "make them pretty." Watson was wearing Come to Bed Red nail lacquer from Butter London and applied the pistachio-green color Bossy Boots to Dr. Oz.

Lastl on the list of five must-have beauty products was Bumble and bumble's Shine On (and On) Finishing Spray, which surprised Dr. Oz. However, as Watson explained, hair is an important aspect of beauty.
