Police seek to ID women seen with man found in landfill

Peel Regional Police want to identify two women who were seen with a Mississauga man on the last night he was seen alive.

Kevin Joseph Arendt, 38, went to the PK Creek Bar and Grill near Dundas Street West and Confederation Parkway in Mississauga on June 27.

He left the bar at about 10:30 p.m., which police previously said was the last known sighting of Arendt.

However, police now say Arendt was seen later that night in other licensed establishments in the area, including at Failte’s Irish Pub and the And Company nightclub.

Police also say Arendt was observed walking into the lobby of his Webb Drive residence in Mississauga just after 12:30 a.m.

His body was found in a Michigan landfill on June 29.

On Wednesday, police released video of Arendt walking into the elevator in his building, as well as video of the two women he was seen with at a Mississauga nightclub.

Investigators want the public’s help in identifying the two women seen in the video.

They also want to hear from anyone who saw or spoke to Arendt on the last night he was seen alive.

Anyone with information is asked to contact investigators a 905-453-3311, ext. 3205, or to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
