Man dies 12 days after being shot in Toronto

A Brampton man has died in hospital, 12 days after he was shot in Toronto.

Toronto police say they responded to a report of gunshots being fired at 9 Driftwood Ct., on the evening of July 20.

Police say they found Donald Levy, 30, "suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head."

Levy was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. He died Wednesday.

Police say that Levy was targeted and that he was with his two-year-old child when he was shot.

Investigators want to speak to witnesses who were in the area at the time of the shooting.

Levy is the 32nd homicide victim in Toronto this year.
