Ontario teen dies days after crash in Hanwell, N.B.

A teenage boy from Brampton, Ont., has died of injuries he suffered in a single-vehicle crash in New Brunswick.

The crash occurred on July 28, on a stretch of the Trans-Canada Highway in Hanwell, N.B., just southwest of Fredericton.

The RCMP says that four people from Brampton were inside the vehicle when it left the road and rolled.

Two adults and a teenage girl were taken to a Fredericton hospital and later released.

The 17-year-old boy was taken to a hospital in Saint John in critical condition. He died on Monday.

Police say they will not be releasing the boy’s name at the request of his family.
