Canada's run at the Little League World Series came to an end on Monday in South Williamsport, Penn. after they dropped a 4-3 decision to Curacao.

Canadian starting pitcher Cole Dalla-Zana had a strong outing but took the loss, striking out nine batters in 5 1/3 innings and giving up four runs — one earned — and walking one.

Noah Hanson-Stafford went 2-for-2 with a homer and two RBIs in the loss.

Railison Bentura earned the win for his country, replacing starter Siamani Boekhoudt after 3 1/3 and holding the Canadian bats at bay.

More to come.
