The story of the arrest of Maygan Sensenberger, the 23-year-old wife of Senator Rob Zimmer, has captured the attention of the Canadian public and is even starting to turn heads overseas.

But just who is the woman charged with causing a disturbance and endangering a flight from Ottawa to Saskatoon?

Sensenberger's Facebook page, which is open to the public, contains hundreds of photos documenting her apparently glamorous life.

UPDATE: The charge against Sensenberger of endangering the safety of an aircraft was dropped on Tuesday, August 28. However, the 23-year-old still faces one count of causing a disturbance and the Crown added a count of uttering threats.

Trips to the Blue Mountain resort, shooting shotguns on the range, pictures standing beside private jets, champagne at luxury hotels, a new home with a closet overflowing with shoes and even a trip to Disney World are all there for the world to see.

Other albums suggest a party lifestyle for the woman who's LinkedIn page says she is a student at Ottawa's Everest College. Album names like "too much tequila = good times :P," "random drunk nite," and "random drunk night the sequel," suggest the native of Collingwood, Ontario likes her libations.

Saskatoon police have said that alcohol may have been a factor in the disturbance which led to the charges, according to Maclean's.

Sensenberger also appears to have made a Facebook page just to celebrate her marriage to Zimmer.

Engagement photos inside Parliament show the couple cuddling up in window sills, chumming around with security staff and kissing passionately.

Another photo from Sensenberger's personal page shows the bride in her wedding dress walking across the lawn outside the Peace Tower.

Partly due to the photos, the story of Sensenberger's arrest is starting to make international headlines. The U.K.'s Daily Mail published a story on Sunday containing many images from the Facebook pages and detailing the events of the disturbance. The publication's website is one of the most popular on the Internet and is bound to spread the images far and wide on the web.

Just as the story takes off around the world, back in Saskatchewan some are questioning whether the entire affair has been blown out of proportion.

News Talk Radio in Regina, which was first to report the story, published another article Sunday which includes an interview with a fellow passenger who helped monitor Zimmer's medical condition after a distraught Sensenberger made it clear she thought her husband was in physical distress.

"From the perspective of being one of three people that stayed right with them through the rest of the flight I at no time felt physically threatened or concerned, at no time felt frankly that the outbursts that she was having were threatening to anyone aside from ‘my god is he going to be OK’," passenger Scott Wright told News Talk Radio.

Sensenberger threatened to take down the aircraft and uttered threats against Zimmer, according to court documents obtained by CBC. Police said the incident began when the couple started arguing.

Sensenberger is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, which just happens to be the first anniversary of her marriage to Zimmer.
