Driver escapes serious injury in fiery crash

A man walked away from a fiery crash in Mississauga early Tuesday morning with only minor injuries.

The car he was driving veered off the road on Meadows Boulevard, near Central Parkway East and Highway 403.

The Honda Accord plowed into two trees and flipped on its roof — then caught fire.

The driver managed to get out of the car before the fire started.

Police have not laid any charges so far, and are investigating the cause of the crash.
