Toronto police shot a large dog in the city's east end on Tuesday.
The dog — a bull mastiff — was shot after a man was attacked in an apartment. An officer that responded was also attacked.
Const. Rob McDonald tweeted that the emergency task force was "dealing with a large dog issue" in the Queen and Leslie area — and later tweeted that the ETF "were needed to deal with a large aggressive dog and the matter has now been dealt with."
One man was taken to hospital to be treated for a dog bite.
