A 34-year-old man has died from bullet wounds after an altercation at 6075 Bélanger Street in Montreal's Saint-Léonard borough.

The incident took place around 2:45 a.m. at Café QVS, a licensed bar and coffee shop. The man is not known to police.

A 24-year-old man, possibly the cafe's owner, was also injured but remains in stable condition.

Two suspects ran away from the scene.
