Man, 24, dies after being struck on his motorcycle

A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a pickup truck that occurred near Glencairn Station on Tuesday morning.

Toronto police say they were called to the scene of a collision on Marlee Avenue at Glengrove Avenue at 8:42 a.m.

According to police, the motorcycle was heading north on Marlee Avenue when it was struck by a pickup truck moving west on Glengrove Avenue.

The motorcycle driver died at the scene. There were no other injuries.

Police say the victim is a 24-year-old male. His name has not been released.

The collision remains under investigation. Marlee Avenue was closed for several hours between Glencairn and Coldstream avenues that morning.
