Police seek suspect after man stabbed, slashed

Toronto police have identified a male suspect who slashed another man in the face and stabbed him in the back.

The incident happened Saturday night on Lansdowne Avenue, near Dupont Street.

Sgt. John Thibodeau told CBC News on Sunday afternoon that two males got into a dispute on the street.

One of those males was stabbed and suffered non-life-threatening injuries, which included a collapsed lung and lacerations on the face.

Thibodeau said police are seeking a suspect, but they are currently not releasing any information about him.
