Pincher Creek Helicopter Crash: Two Men Escape With No Injuries

It's A Miracle
RCMP Handout

Two people are lucky to be alive after the helicopter they were flying in crashed in a farmer's field Wednesday afternoon.

According to RCMP, both men, a pilot and his passenger, walked away free of injury after the helicopter crashed around noon near Pincher Creek.

There was, however, a small fire that started in the field after the helicopter downed a power line. Pincher Creek Fire, along with the help of nearby residents and farmers, were able to extinguish the flames.

Pincher Creek RCMP and Transport Canada are working to determine what caused the crash.
