Maygan Sensenberger has pleaded guilty to causing a disturbance on a flight and Twitter users are reacting.

Senator Rod Zimmer's wife was given a 12-month suspended sentence and ordered to seek counselling and an addiction assessment on Thursday. The charge of uttering threats was withdrawn.

The case has generated national attention, largely due to the couple's large age difference, and Canadians have been quick to share their feelings about the plea online.
