A lot of work goes into "creating" the persona of an actress. Marilyn Monroe was no exception.

Her hair, her curve-hugging clothes, her incredible makeup -- many a celebrity has mimicked her sartorial style (from Madonna to Michelle Williams).

Now you can channel your own inner blonde bombshell thanks to MAC. The company has created a line of richly coloured makeup reminiscent of the 36-year-old actress (who passed away 50 years ago). There are lipsticks in sensual reds and incredible false lashes in noir. The eyeshadows are shimmering and metallic and the blushes rouge.

The whole collection hits store shelves on October 4.
