But although her prospective career path may paint a dark picture of the Albertan looking for love next week in The Bachelor Canada, her outlook is positively sunny.

"I have a really big personality," the 33-year-old tells bachelorcanada.ca.

"I am fun, I'm funn-y. I'm a person who loves to live life so I love to love.

"I love that I can make people laugh, smile, and feel comfortable."

For someone who hopes to work with cadavers, Mindy makes it clear that a passion for life is a must in a possible relationship.

"I hope the Bachelor loves life as much as I do," she said.

"Somebody who has a zest for life, I want that for me."

And about those tattoos? They're on her chest, stomach, upper back and lower back. But no big deal, Mindy says.

"All can be hidden by a shirt," she explains.

But if Mindy doesn't find love with Bachelor Brad Smith, a former Edmonton Eskimo, there may be business prospects with another Alberta bachelorette.

Other Alberta bachelorettes who will vie for Smith's attention when the show premieres next week on Citytv and OMNI include a Wetaskiwin lass, a sweet girl from the oil patch and a Calgary administrative assistant who thinks she already has this whole competition in the bag.
