ABBOTSFORD, B.C. - Police in Abbotsford, B.C., say a man wanted on various charges, including sexual offences, may have travelled to Eastern Canada, Ontario or Quebec.

Sixty-one-year-old Stephen Edgar McCreary is wanted on 18 charges, including 13 sexual offences, four counts of aggravated assault and one of forcible confinement.

Investigators believe the long-time Fraser Valley resident may have left the Metro Vancouver area in mid-July.

A release from the Abbotsford Police does not give details of the allegations against him.

It also doesn't say why officers believe he travelled east.

Police want to hear from anyone spotting McCreary, described as 5'9", 180 pounds with brown eyes and short grey hair.
