Two men were taken to hospital after a fight that broke out early Monday outside a Brampton nightclub, in which one victim was shot and another was injured by a bottle.

One of the victims, described by police as a bouncer at the club, sustained a gunshot wound to the foot. The second man had a bottle smashed over his head.

The incident occurred shortly before 3 a.m. on Gateway Boulevard at Queen Street.

Police said the suspect fled the scene in a silver Nissan Altima.
