Edmontonians, we're officially jealous of your shopping scene.
Simons is just-about-ready to open their first non-Quebec store in your hood.
The location, which will open at West Edmonton Mall, will be 95,000 square feet of shopping heaven (at least for fans of the retailer's fun and on-trend fashions).
Simons CEO Peter Simons says Edmonton was chosen as the chain's first out-of-province base because it's, "a vibrant, growing city with an appreciation for inspiring fashion." He added: "Creativity is ingrained in everything we do, not only through our distinctive selection of merchandise, but in the design of the store itself."
With several locations in Quebec, Simons is one of the province's go-to spots for finding seasonal sartorial styles. The store offers a curated selection of renowned international labels (such as Balmain, Missoni and Paul Smith) and produces its own collection of sweaters, shirts and pants for men and women. There's even a range of home decor items.
