A video posted by the Lingerie Football League on Thursday of a brawl that broke out during a game in Saskatoon has people talking more about the stands than the players’ attire.
The video shows a group of men – some in different stages of undress – wrestling, punching and kicking each other during one of two brawls that broke out the Credit Union Centre between the Saskatoon Sirens and the Regina Rage.
Fans weighing in on the video, and the reasons for it, said the violence in the stand adds some legitimacy to the sport, while others blamed the behaviour on the absence of hockey.

The brawl video was the only highlight reel from the game posted by the league, News Talk 650 reported.
"To have the rivalry start this early, I think it's a great indicator for LFL football and specifically the Regina Rage and the Saskatoon Sirens," Mitchell Mortaza, league founder and chairman, told News Talk 650.

The two teams are locked in a battle for one of the two championship berths, the Star Phoenix is reporting, adding that at approximately 2,000, the crowd at the eventful game was the largest the league recorded during its inaugural season.
Regina lost the game 26 to 20 but will have a chance to secure a spot in the finals when the Rage meets the Sirens again on Oct. 21.
