Eno Missing Calgary Cat: Autotuned YouTube Video Is Funny And Sad

WATCH: Autotuned Plea To Find Missing Kitty Is Funny, Sad
YouTube

It's never funny when a pet goes missing. It's really, really sad, actually.

But in the case of Eno, a small, grey Siamese cat who went missing from his apartment in Calgary's Beltline community on Oct. 1, we definitely had a little chuckle.

Before you deem us horrible jerks for laughing at the misfortune of a missing kitty, check out the video his ownner NoahYorkCity uploaded to YouTube on Thursday.

The autotuned plea for the return of his feline made us giggle, while at the same time hoping that the sweet little cat has a speedy return home.

The lyrics are heartbreaking, but there's something about the increasingly high-pitched, repetitive lyrics that brings a smile.

"Listen up, people. I looked all over my apartment, I looked all over the neighbourhook of Beltline. My little, grey Siamese cat, Eno, is missing and he lives in the neightbourhood of Beltline. My little, grey Siamese cat, Eno, is missing, and he needs to come home."

This is clearly an owner who loves his cat and, if the video is any indication, the affection goes both ways. Throughout the short video see Eno close to the camera, enjoying some petting and snuggling up to his owner.

If you have any information about Eno, you can contact his owner through the email link on the video.
