Conservatives hate the environment and everything in it. When they are done the world animal population will include cows, pigs, sheep, chicken, turkey, and tuna. All other animals will exist only in National Geographic specials.

How absolutely DISGUSTING! Millions of sharks are being killed at an alarming rate. They keep our oceans healthy and the oceans need all the help they can get because of all the pollution we dump in them. I just read today that according to National Geographic 25,000 elephants were killed and dismembered last year (the number is probably higher) for the ivory trade so Asians can make useless little trinkets out of their tusks. I literally cried after reading this. It is getting harder for me to live in a world that is so cruel and barbaric. This woman should be FORCED to resign immediately! This is not the kind of politician that should be representing Canada. The election cannot come soon enough!

As for shark fining, it threatens all humans and oxygen breathing creatures and therefore I would say this is not a cultural thing at all.
