HOBBEMA, Alta. - Three people in their mid-20s have died in a house fire on a reserve south of Edmonton.

Hobbema RCMP say fire and emergency medical services were dispatched to the Samson reserve on Sunday and found a home engulfed in flames.

Firefighters went into the burning structure and found three victims — a man and two women.

Police says the deceased have been identified and their names will be released after autopsies and consultation with family.

Provincial fire investigators and RCMP forensic and general investigation units are investigating.

Police say there is nothing at this time to indicate the fire is suspicious.
