Toronto police say that two men were seen fleeing the industrial area where a man was found dead in Scarborough yesterday.

Police were called to a business located at 1970 Ellesmere Rd., Unit 2, just after 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man “suffering obvious signs of trauma,” who was pronounced dead at the scene.

A woman was also located in the same unit.

"She was obviously shaken up as anyone would be," Det. Mike Carbone told reporters late Wednesday night.

"But she’s co-operating with us at this time."

Two men were seen fleeing the area.

Police later located a white SUV that was also seen leaving the area. The vehicle was found in the Bayview Avenue and Sheppard Avenue area.

Carbone said that the vehicle is now in police possession and will be examined by forensic investigators.

The name of the victim has not yet been released, as police say they are still notifying next-of-kin.

A post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place today.
