Masked gunman opens fire inside Montreal North business

A 50-year-old man is recovering from a gunshot wound after a masked gunman walked into a Montreal North business and opened fire.

Montreal police said the shooting happened at around 11 a.m. at a business on Léger Boulevard near Rolland Boulevard.

Police said the motive for the shooting appears to be robbery.

The victim, who works at the business, was shot in the arm. His injuries aren't considered to be life-threatening, police said.

Police are calling the shooting an attempted murder.

Authorities are looking for a suspect who is described as a man in his 30s.
