Darrel Donald Stupinkoff Arrested In Massive Saskatchewan Child Porn Bust

SASKATOON -- A Saskatoon man is facing charges as part of a police child porn investigation that targeted online child predators on the Prairies and the North.

Members from the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit searched a Saskatoon home Monday and arrested Darrel Donald Stupinkoff, who is the now the 17th person arrested in a massive RCMP investigation.

The 58-year-old is charged with possession of child pornography and distribution of child pornography.

Police says Stupinkoff has a previous conviction in 2005 for possession of child pornography.

The search was part of Operation Snapshot -- an investigation that saw 16 other people charged in Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba.

Police said last week that as part of the operation they found hundreds of thousands of images child porn images.
