The Supreme Court has announced its Etobicoke byelection ruling, effectively overturning a lower court decision which would have forced a new election.

Conservative Ted Opitz will remain the MP for Etobicoke Centre and Liberal incumbent Borys Wrzesnewskyj's quest to have the result in the riding overturned due to voting irregularities is over.
