KELOWNA, B.C. - Three years after a Kelowna, B.C., man was shot to death in a Kelowna park, police believe a handful of Kelowna and Prince George residents haven't shared vital details about the slaying.

Saturday marks the third anniversary of the murder of 20-year-old Christopher Daniel Hetu and Kelowna RCMP say investigators continue to track down leads.

They say Hetu was likely shot just 10 to 15 minutes after riding his BMX bike into Millbridge Park in central Kelowna, at about 1 a.m. on Oct. 27, 2009.

Hetu had moved to Kelowna from Prince George about one month before the killing.

Investigators are confident that residents of both cities may have details about why Hetu was in the park that night or why he was shot.

They urge anyone with information to call Kelowna RCMP or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers.
